In her early life, it was clear that Simone was very much into music. While small children played, Simone was always singing.

Simone has been a member of a gospel choir, sampled playing the piano and violin and participated in various musical shows for children. Simone loves all kind of music (from classical to heavy) and it shows in the contents of her IPod.

Simone has been taught singing since 2002.
This was initially by a local choirmaster, Signe Walsøe, and since 2005 by a professional singing teacher, Karina Nus, from Copenhagen.

There is no doubt that these two women have helped to give Simone some valuable tools to develop and take care of her talent.

Since Simone won "The Stage Is Yours" in 2004, there has been a rapid development - both vocally and personally. Simone's approach to music is increasingly marked by professionalism and responsibility. Simone has a strong mind to sing and this is reflected in her live performance.
She is 100% real when she easily engages her own feelings and interpretations of the big ballads that are close to her heart.
Simone says: "I have to feel a song inside before I can sing it properly."

Simone has already performed with several big national and international artists in Denmark.

Between school and live concerts Simone has also had the time to publish 4 music CDs which range from Disney to Christmas songs and from pop ballads to, her latest album, movie hits.

Although one can be quite breathless to hear about Simone's life, especially the last 4-5 years, Simone manages to keep her feet firmly on the ground.
She lives like any other teenager, where she shares her remaining time with family, friends and her passion for the animals.
